Digital X-Rays are a safe, noninvasive way for our team to see the full picture of your oral health. Typically taken at your initial appointment and then periodically afterwards, digital x-rays allow us to identify cavities, evaluate bone health, and identify other pathology that would not appear on a visual exam.
We have the ability to take 2D images of individual teeth as well as 3D images of the jaws using our Cone Beam CT. Useful for determining bone density for implant sites, location of 3rd molars, cracked or infected teeth, and more, this 3D image can provide valuable information in understanding your oral health and in planning treatment.
